Introduction to HSC IT Help
The HSC IT Help site contains lots of help and advice on how to use the various applications that you will need throughout your course. You can click on the appropriate links in the top menu above or to the left in the section Sub Menu. There are guides to all the applications that we use here, written primarily for students but accessible to the staff as well. If the information you require is not listed below then consult the Student Computing at UWE Guide or the ITS Knowledge Base
The Faculty is increasingly adopting e-learning approaches to enhance the learning experience and increase access to resources. During your time here you will be required to use the web, including Blackboard, as part of your programme. You can obtain entry to Blackboard from the Courses tab in myUWE from the University home page (http://www.uwe.ac.uk) if you need help with blackboard then view the FAQ
All pre-registration and undergraduate students will have an e-learning induction during the first few weeks of their programme, and further workshops may be arranged during your course of study if you need them. Please visit the other links in this menu especially the 'FAQ' link or the New Student Guide link for further help. You are also encouraged to take every opportunity offered to augment your IT skills.
