Navigating the site

This site is divided up into the days of the module. Each day is displayed down the left hand side, click on the relevant day and either use the menu links or the forwards and backwards links displayed at the top right of this page to navigate through the day.

Face to Face Sessions

The face to face sessions indicated on the timetable comprise of a combination of workshops, seminars and masterclasses. They are all held at the Glenside Campus of the Univeristy of the West of England.

Online Learning (OLL) Sessions

Five of the nine days of this module comprise of online learning packages. These have been designed to be interactive as well as informative and students can work through them at their own pace. The overall aims of the online material are to:

  • Ensure the student is able to learn at their own pace but be able to identify gaps in knowledge, and work practice.
  • Allow thorough investigation of a topic that is pertinent and relevant to the students own work area.
  • Develop investigative skills utilising the internet, and web based resources
  • Allow the student time to assimilate information, and incorporate this information into their work practice. 
  • Develop skills in utilising and interacting with a range of web based activities
