H drive:
S drive:

Please note that there is no access to local drives (C, D) in student labs
Just a reminder that student data is only retained for 42 days after their award board has met. So graduating students 'H' drive data is only available during July and a bit of August. After this time it is wiped from our records, so its very important that they remove any important material before the expiry as indicated.
Backup
We strongly recommend that you keep more than one copy of important things. For example you can save your work on your H drive and keep an additional copy on a floppy disk, CD or memory stick. Memory sticks will work on all thick-client machines (from August 2005) and on the thin-client machines of the 24 hour lab (2B017).
