IT Services passwords
IT Services will give you access to the following systems:
Windows network (to log into UWE machines)
myUwe (the UWE portal) this allows you to connect to the following:
Blackboard (under Courses Tab)
E-mail system
Your Marks
Your Details
IT Services will send you a letter with your e-mail address and a password. It is important to remember your password. If you forget your password you can get it reset from the Student 1Stop Shop. The password will not be usable until the next day.
You can change the password at: http://password.uwe.ac.uk
You will also need to connect to the e-submissions system
Athens Password
Access to many web-based services, particularly from off campus, is via the Athens access management system. This links to the UWE staff and student database to allow access to dozens of databases and thousands of electronic journals.
From February 2007 you now log in to Athens authenticated resources using your UWE network username and password.
