reflection -tips, tools and theory

In the following pages you will find a variety of information and exercises to help you reflect on your own practice, help your students to reflect, look at giving and receiving feedback, and some real life scenarios to work through on your own or with your colleagues.

The aim is to make reflection something positive and easy to do.  It needs to be a good habit . This only happens if it's quick and useful.

Some key pointers on reflection.

  • Use a model if it suits you
  • Think about the positive events or when nothing much seems to happen.  There's a reson for this.
  • Be nice to yourself  Give yourself some positive feedback.  You are doing a good job
