Reader in Nursing and Learning Technologies
Pam Moule, Reader in Nursing and Learning Technologies, is the Director for the Centre for Learning and Workforce Research and the E-learning and Health Informatics Research Programme lead. Pam has a strong profile in pedagogic development and research related to practice, which has developed from her expertise in resuscitation and e-learning research. Pam has led the development of faculty based e-resources over a number of years to include the web-based delivery of resuscitation knowledge. Projects completed with local NHS Trusts have reviewed staff experiences of e-learning and ability to transfer learning to practice. Further research has been student focused, reviewing how learners use e-learning in clinical practice and whether they could develop online communities of practice. Pam also has expertise in educational evaluation and is currently involved in a number of projects using participatory evalution methods. Pam co-edited a book on E-learning in Nursing and is an editor of the Electronic Journal of E-learning. Pam is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and Higher Education Academy.
