The drop-in sessions are open to all Health and Life Sciences (HLS) students for study skills queries. Any student can come, no appointment necessary. However the time that we can offer you will depend on the number of students who turn up. Come along on your own or with a friend!

Do I need to bring anything?

It depends on what you want to discuss.

If you want to discuss a specific piece of work, please bring along:

  • A hard copy of your work
  • The question in full for the relevant assignment
  • Module guidelines containing the assessment criteria
  • Any feedback that you have received on this or previous assignments
  • Work on a memory stick ( if you like to save your work using this method).
  • A dictaphone ( if you like to work using this method).

We look forward to supporting you with your learning. If you have detailed questions about the content of your work, we may re-direct you to your module tutor who is best placed to answer these.
