These Open Days are designed to provide you with the opportunity to discover more about the School and University and to gain further insight into what our courses have to offer.
An Open Day will provide you with full details of the course you are interested in and will enable you to ask questions to the relevant member of staff who will be teaching you during your time at UWE.
Of course studying at UWE is not just about the course you undertake but the whole of student life. For the rest of your visit you will be able to take a guided tour of our facilities, find out about student accommodation, admissions, finance and placements as well as finding out what it's really like to study here from our Student Ambassadors.
The School will be open for visitors between 10.00 to 16.00.
Have a look at our Open Day Programme to work out the most convenient time for you to arrive - you don't have to be here at 10.00am. We have a rolling programme of talks and activities throughout the day.
Provisional Programme
During the open day you will be able to:
- Talk to staff about the Adult or Mental Health Nursing course you are thinking of following
- Find out from students what it is like to study at the Gloucester Education Centre
- Find out about placements, finance, admissions and student accommodation
- Take a guided tour of the education centre
- Visit the practical Simulation Suite used by our students during their course of study

On arrival
When you arrive please report to the School of Health and Social Care Administrative office in Mark Davison building – this will be well signposted from the main car park at the end of the drive to Hartpury Campus.
